January in a nutshell. A small nutshell.
A week and a half ago Matt went to Las Vegas with Aaron for the Consumer Electronics Show. Aaron has gone for many years with our Uncle Jim and has always wanted Matt to attend. This year there was no snow in the forecast for that week (miracle!) so Matt went! Aaron got to see one day of the convention and was home sick (one has to be VERY sick to miss CES) for the following two days. Matt had a great time with my uncle, despite Aaron's absence.
We missed him while he was away. I always enjoy the first couple days of alone time and have grand plans of Project Catch up, and then the last two days...just get a little boring.
Angie and I did take the the kids up to Park City and did some shopping for a day. There were a couple incidents of my car battery dying and getting locked out of the car, but as it turns out, it was all just my stupidity getting the best of me, as usual. We got through it. :)
After Matt came home, we enjoyed a couple normal days of life. Then on Wednesday while I finishing my work day, Matt started getting really sick.
And he stayed sick for the rest of the week. And oh wait, he's still not well yet! But he is getting MUCH better!
Mia caught it on Friday and Samantha caught it on Saturday. It was a long weekend in our little house but we tried to make the best of it!
They are all three still tired and recovering but doing better.
And Momma is EXHAUSTED!!! I would so rather be the sick one than take care of the sickies!!
Let's hope I can still stay healthy though...I am so darn tired today!
We had lots of baths throughout the days.... and lots of cuddling.
Lots of movie watching...
Lots of "baba's and ginkies" (bottles and blankie)
and more...
And at Mia's most happy (meaning: most medicated) times, she did some painting. Which she just LOVES!!

sad. they all even have that sick look. You know the tired eyes, and definitely the "there is something wrong" face. Poor kiddos. hope they feel better.
They look so miserable. I seriously hope you don't get it too...as you well know, mom's don't get sick days, just really crappy days that you hate while no one else feels sorry for you, just expects dinner! Call me if you need a break!
