These pictures have nothing to do with Mia's commentary. I'm just going through one of those "I can't believe my baby has grown up so dang fast stages," so I've been smiling at some of her pictures.
This tiny little chunk grew into...
this hilarious little social butterfly, then into....
this little Dramatic Diva.
I shouldn't be too hard on her, there are times that she isn't drama. But normally it's just cause she has her thumb in her mouth! These are some of her recent Mia-isms.
When I say things she doesn't like or that restrict her at all, she's started saying:
"You don't know! You're just a DANG MOM!!" over and over.
And I can tell in her mind, she's cussing at me.
It's the ultimate insult.
Last week the girls were at my brother Aaron's while I had a 3 hour dentist appt. I know, lucky me.
Aaron text me Mia's best quote while I was gone. She had her arm around her cousin, Piper's neck. Piper is not yet 2 and very very sweet. Unlike my houligans...
And Mia says: "Piper, you are my Best Friend, and that means you have to do everything I say."
I can see Piper's concerned face.. I'd be concerned too.
She picked out a 'bag/purse' at Target. She carries it everywhere. Over her head and under one arm. It's blue with white polka dots. She OFTEN talks to random people and the other day she was talking to an elderly man, after they exchanged names,
he said, "Oh, I like your bag!"
and she whipped her head around to him with one hip out and yells,
"It's NOT a BAG!! It's a PURSE!! It has my STUFF in it!!!"
He was a little taken back but laughed out loud after a sec. Then she laughed too.
I've had to explain to her how impolite it is to randomly yell at elderly people when she instigated the conversation.
She's also taken to asking random elderly people where their spouse is.
At Costco waiting at the pharmacy:
Mia: Hi Gwandpa man.
Grandpa man: Well hello. What's you're name?
Mia: (sigh..) Well, I am just Mia Jane and this is my Sammie. She's a girl.
Man: Those are very nice names.
Mia: Yeah, and that's just my mom. (thanks mia...)
He laughs..
Mia: Where is your Gwandma? (because they always come in pairs...)
Man: Well, she lives in Heaven now.
Mia: (hands to her mouth, big eyes) You should go get her! She would miss you!!
I guess that's what our next FHE should be on..
I've said before that Mia Constantly says, "Momma, did you know that I love you?"
And I say, "Yes I did, I love you too!"
But now, if you don't thank her for saying it, she points at me and yells,
"Mom! Say, THANK YOU FOR TELLING ME THAT!"
And then five minutes later, she says, "I just wish my daddy was home, I just miss him so much..."
Can't ever win with a three year old.
Thats all the time I have for Mia quotes right now. :)

Todd and I had some good chuckles over this! What a funny little girl! Hard to think the last time we saw her was right after you had her at Koseli's wedding! Time flies!
