I'm so dang tired I might fall off my chair, but I have to post these pictures because if I don't I'll be dreaming about editing pictures all night (does anybody else do that??? Probably not) and I want to sleep well tonight! Today we have a backyard and I'm so. in. love. with. it. I'm grateful for every blade of grass, every rock, and every pile of dirt. I'm especially grateful for the many people that helped with this whole process.
First, there was dirt. Lots of dirt.
Then there was rocks.
Then sweet husband built me awesome planter boxes for my vegetables. These are my favorite.
Then there was sod.
Then there was the shaping of the sod in every nuk and cranny.
Then we enjoyed it.

Yeah! and perfect timing as summer is approaching. It looks great. Let me know how the veggies turn out. I wanna do the same but there are so many critters around here I haven't figured out the best way to do it. Good luck and good job Matt!

It looks so good! I remember doing our yard, no one loves the sound of sprinklers (that work and water all the new sod)like I do!! Enjoy!!
looks like fun. Love the planters boxes too. He did a great job. Why do you put rocks down first? Do you put the soil on top of that and less chance for weeds?
