The One and Only Time

I unfortunately passed my stir crazy need to get out of the house daily to my daughter, who will sit by the back door with Jasper when she's bored and hit the door making car noises, for "Let's go somewhere." In my need to do something different than the usual, we went on her first adventure to the Chucky Cheese. We intentionally went around 2:00 so it would be empty, I can't stand the caos. Five minutes in, I vowed to never ever go back. I realize at one point I will go back on my word because of some reason or another we will return to the Chucky once more, but not by my choice. For now I label it the saddest excuse for entertainment ever! They took the balls out which I knew Mia would love. Its most likely a good thing since they were a hygiene nightmare, but it sure leaves something to be desired. Half the rides don't work and they're all so boring that even my one year wanted off after 15 seconds of turning the steering wheel. They don't even have the little three horse carousel anymore! What's the point!!!! I don't know if it is just our CC that is that lame, or if all of them suck. If not for ski ball and all the gun games that William liked, we would have left very quickly. In the future I will take the time to drive the extra time to Discovery Zone or Jump On It or the Zoo or wherever else there is actual entertainment!

Despite the lameness, Aaron and I of course took the opportunity to take pictures that made it look more fun than it really was. My face looks like it's going to explode from climbing through the tiny tubes!

Anything with a gun will do!
This was the only ride she likes because it actually moved. And the best part was her first tiny sucker at the end that was like 50 tickets or something. She enjoyed it immensely.

Well, I for one appreciate the more-fun-than-it-really-was pictures. Very cute.

I laughed and laughed at this. Kirk and I can't stand the place either! Every time we go there we get talking about the need for better things like it around here. Great pictures though!

Your pictures are great but I have to agree with you... chuck e cheese is no fun. My kids say there is one here in georgia but I keep saying... "nope, I don't think there is!"
